FOR THIS
GUATEMALAN HARVEST...
We are honored to work with Louis Pedro Zeleya Zamora and the crew at Bella Vista in Antigua. They are known globally for procuring and processing some of the best Guatemalan coffees available.
All beans in this harvest are grown above 1500 meters. The result is a slower growing coffee cherry with a rich, vibrant profile. Think cherries, stone fruit, and almond.
We are proud to partner directly with farmers on this Guatemalan season, including the small farmers of Hunapu, who we have worked with for over 12 years. Kuma visits Bella Vista each spring, it is a beautiful part of the world, and the grow delicious coffees.
I hope you enjoy this season of coffee!

COFFEE IS A FRUIT.
WE ONLY DO
IN-SEASON COFFEE.
For 18 years, we have been singularly focused on directly sourcing and roasting the world's most exceptional coffee. Like any great fruit, it’s best enjoyed in season. So you can taste the flavors at their peak.
Our team roasts and ships
Monday - Thursday. Expedited delivery ensures your beans arrive at peak freshness.
We are a team of four people roasting over 100,000 lbs of coffee per year, only high scoring lots. We respectfully do not offer dark or low quality coffees.
We are committed to direct sourcing high scoring and unique coffees in season. We pay well above Fair Trade premiums, which allows us to secure the finest microlots on the globe.
We keep a singular focus on roasting high quality coffee, and this has made our brand famous worldwide.

ROASTER’S
FAVORITE COFFEE
Being one of the early craft roasters, our influence has been far and wide. From multiple Good Food Awards when we were just two guys in a tiny roastery, to having our hand stamped kraft bags sitting on the shelves of some of the most elite cafes across the country. We’ve come a long way since then, but still keep the same focus we always have: it’s about the quality of the coffee inside the bag.

A MICRO ROASTER DOING
Kuma is a 5 person team roasting over 100,000lbs of high scoring coffee per year. Most macro companies doing that volume are 30+ people doing dark roast or low scoring coffees. It’s a testament to our singular focus on high quality, and the trust we’ve built with many customers over the last 18 years.
