Kuma Coffee is an artisan microroaster in Seattle, WA. Our office is based in the small community of Magnolia and our roasting operation is located in Bellevue, WA. We roast on a vintage 1950's cast iron L12 Probat. By using a small 25-pound batch roaster Kuma Coffee is able to put great care into each individual batch of coffee that's produced and adjust temperatures and airflow with great ease. This helps us develop wonderful roast profiles that are carefully developed to complement bean origin, distinct bean characteristics and our customer's roast preferences. We carefully produce each small batch of coffee that goes out to our customers and carefully watch over every step from bean selection, to roasting, to handpacking and weighing and delivering the freshest coffee in the Northwest. Quality and Freshness is important to us. Look at the bottom of every bag for a roast date.
