Red Volcanic soil, washed from the waters of the river Rwabura, varietals SL 28 and SL 34 grown by the surrounding farms comprising of 500 members of the Gitwe Cooperative Society. This Karinga Factory is actually in the midst of tea growing zones of the country.
Spiced tea is what comes to mind, with rich pomegranate and aromatics of clove, allspice, cardamon and a passionfruit tropical note to finish. Decadent and top of the pile Kenyan coffees have been a tentpole at Kuma since the very early days. We are proud to have this lot on our menu
