He grew up in Morazán, Yoro, surrounded by coffee cultivation and cattle ranching, and his family produced conventional coffee.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eIn 1997, the family sold their property in Yoro and moved to El Cielito, Santa Bárbara. There, Alex and his grandfather began planting coffee. In 2002, he and his grandfather emigrated to the United States.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eIn 2008, Alex returned to Honduras and continued working in coffee production. He spent a couple of years in the country, but he was not satisfied with the results.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eIn 2012, Alex migrated again to the United States. Three years later, in 2015, he returned to Honduras, where he inherited 0.7 hectares of farmland from his grandfather.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eIn 2017, Alex purchased a property in El Sauce, Santa Bárbara, and in 2018, he once again returned to the United States. He left an uncle in charge of the farm. In 2025, Alex returned with the intention of settling permanently and dedicating himself fully to coffee production.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eProcessing: \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThe cherries are de-pulped every afternoon, then, the parchment is put into fermentation tanks where it is dry fermented for 15 hours. After, the parchment is rinsed into the tank with water four times.
