Ethiopia Bedhatu Jibicho Natural *NEW*
*New Biodegradable packaging on all 12oz bags*
Only recently have single farms been allowed to sell directly to importers and roasters, and getting this coffee from farmer Benhatu Jibicho is a dream. Benhatu Jibicho is the matriarch of a family of coffee growers. Having managed her own farm herself for the last 50 years, Benhatu hires 20 year round workers, mostly women, to help run the 84 acre farm, chemical free. Cherries are hand sorted during processing, and dried on raised beds with covering for afternoon shade.
We've spent a lot of time trying to find the best naturally processed coffee from Ethiopia this year, this is the latest in that journey. Peach gummy aromatics give way to notes of strawberry jam in the cup, sweet and rounded with chocolate nibs giving it balance on the finish.
This is a gold standard coffee from Ethiopia, we are honored to have it in our lineup.
