The Jarama Washing Station is one of the elite stations on the Kivubelt in western Rwanda, smallholder farmers growing bourbon variant coffee plants in the rich volcanic loam at the top of the mountain. Sourced by Royal Coffee, we secured contract of this coffee preship based on sample selection and now it has arrived on our shores and is ready to roast.
I've written a lot of these descriptions, and never do I fail to grasp how absurdly lucky we all are to have access to these coffees, grown in the most ideal parts of earth for this crop, shipped halfway across the planet for us to roast and offer to you. What a privilege. Please enjoy it with me. -Peter Mark
